As a family photographer, my style is natural and informal, capturing a mixture of both personal moments and family interactions. I love that my photos are genuine and spontaneous: they show everyday emotions and families being themselves and enjoying time together.
During the photo session, I like to make sure I have a good range of shots of your family. If this hasn’t happened already in the natural interactions, I will be happy to gently guide some more informal posed portrait photos so we have a variety of unique images for you to keep and remember the day.
As a mum of two young boys, I am used to a hectic family life and understand how the needs and mood of children can dictate what happens next. My style of photography works well with families who want to capture "real life” and special moments together, as they truly are.
In terms of location, it is important that you and your family feel happy and comfortable in your surroundings – this will mean we can get the best out of the shoot. I am happy to come to you at home, or at an outdoor setting, perhaps one that means something special to you: the beach, a local country walk or I could also suggest a place which may work for you. I am flexible to fit in and around requirements to suit your family.
I am based in Essex and cover areas around here, Suffolk, Cambridge and, at times, London. I will be happy to travel further for an additional travel cost.

Up to 2 hours photo session with immediate family at a chosen location.
A minimum of 50 high-resolution, edited images (both in colour and black and white). These images are then yours to print and share as you please.
I can also recommend printing companies or, as an extra service, I can create a bespoke album, canvas or prints, which we can discuss afterwards.
